So that kind of people they are, I went to Singapore, I met them, I know, I have seen with my own eyes who they are and this guy came to have my darshan and left his luggage back at the airport. So we went and took away the luggage and brought him and fixed him here, so this morning he gave a Kirtan. He sings beautiful. I think you enjoyed this morning too. It, it is a matter of chance and matter of pleasure to see such people. Your destiny is to be very rich one day. Read today the second part of Los Angeles Times, the land is slipping. And there is a whole article Scientific, I mean to say those who are curious about science, it is for them and Hawaii is rising up.

Property price will go down and you know, everything will be in abundance. Lot of cars will be on sale, and all that stuff. But anyway. Things are happening right in many directions but this is a very, very square time.

Now how you can be what you have to be or what you should be? The reality of it is, you are a reality. You are a reality. There is a part of God in you. There is a part of God in you. Now what I am saying you can't deny it. But you will never accept it also. Non-accepting of that reality is what is known as a pain in the world. You have not to meditate on God and you have not to be with God and you have not to run away into the cave and you have not to abandon, you have to do nothing. If you want to do nothing one thing is still you have to do.
那么，你怎么才能成为你必须成为的、或者你本该成为的样子？真相是，你就是一个真实的存在。你就是一个真实的存在。你里面有神的一部分。你里面有神的一部分。我这么说，你没法否认。可你也永远不会接受它。不接受这个真相，就是世上所谓的痛苦。你不需要去冥想神，你不需要与神同在，你不需要跑进山洞里，你不需要舍弃什么，你什么都不用做。如果你想什么都不做，有一件事你还是得做。
There is a saying when one wants to be so free that he become free from his responsibilities, then he loses his freedom forever. Everybody wants to be free and you should be free, there is nothing wrong to be free. But when you become so free… Now I tell you the story of a great sage.
有句话说，当一个人想自由到连自己的责任都摆脱掉，那他就永远失去了自由。每个人都想要自由，你也应该自由，自由本身没有错。但当你自由到这个地步……现在我给你们讲一位伟大圣人的故事。

There was a very beautiful disciple of a Guru and Guru died and he made him in his place a sage. So the discipline was so well organized by his Guru that his Guru used to get only one hour time to be by himself. One hour, in twenty-four hours. He made such rituals that he must come at 2:30 in the morning…
有一位古茹的弟子，非常出色，古茹去世后，就让他接替自己的位置，成了一位圣人。这位弟子的日程被他的古茹安排得井井有条，连古茹自己每天也只有 1 个小时能独处。24 小时里只有 1 个小时。他定下这样的规矩：凌晨 2 点 30 分必须起来……

So that sage made a discipline that at two thirty he will pour water in the tank, a cup of water and will chant the hymn, then his all chelas will take the bath. Then at 3:30 he will put a cloth around one chela and then all will wrap the cloth and something like that. And it goes on and on and on and on.
于是这位圣人定下规矩：2 点 30 分，他往水池里倒水，一杯水，然后唱诵赞歌，接着他所有的弟子（chela）都去沐浴。然后 3 点 30 分，他把一块布披在一位弟子身上，接着所有人都裹上布，诸如此类。就这样一直下去，一直下去，一直下去。

When he died, he told his disciple, he said, “Son, I have done most weird things in life and my destiny was to be the meanest of the mean on this earth. But I got a secret from very holy man and I became a great sage. I am choosing you because your destiny is also like my destiny. So, listen to these words of mine. Don’t do these rituals as rituals. Continue doing them for my sake. Do as I do.”
他临终时，把弟子叫到跟前，说：“孩子，我这一生做过最古怪的事，我的命就是做这世上最卑贱中的最卑贱。但我从一位极圣洁的人那里得到一个秘密，于是我成了一位伟大的圣者。我选中你，是因为你的命也像我的命。所以，听好我这些话。别把这些仪式当成仪式来做。为了我，继续做下去。照我做的去做。”
He died. Now this guy…

You know, there is always Shaktipad? Shaktipad is an itch. You know that movie you saw ‘Seven year itch’? I love that movie, that movie was more spiritual than anything I saw. Ever on the screen. Whenever it is replayed must see it, seven-year itch, a great movie. It’s a great lesson in it.
你知道，总有夏克提帕德（Shaktipad）这回事吧？夏克提帕德就是一种痒。你看过那部电影《七年之痒》吗？我爱那部电影，那部电影比我见过的任何东西都更有灵性。在银幕上，从没有过。每次重播都一定要看，《七年之痒》，一部了不起的电影。里面有一个了不起的教训。
So that Shaktipad was like that seven year itch, so this guy three years did exactly what his Guru was doing. And one day he said, “I have got the Gian, I have got the knowledge, I have got the light, so from today I have to do nothing and you have to do everything.”
所以那个夏克提帕德就像那七年之痒，于是这个人三年里完全照着他的古茹所做的去做。有一天他说：“我已经得到了智慧（Gian），我已经得到了知识，我已经得到了光，所以从今天起我什么都不用做，你们什么都得做。”
day he said, “I have got the Gian, I have got the knowledge, I have got the light, so from today I have to do nothing and you have to do everything.”

So everybody started continuing doing what they were doing. So he became more lonely, more lonely, more lonely, more lonely, more lonely, a idea, and time came when he was even not seen for months together by anyone.

One day his Guru’s brother monk came to visit him. So naturally he has to come out of his shell. So he went out to receive him and he came. There is a ritual when such a saint comes to home you wash his feet. It is a matter of respect. But this sage told him not to do it. And he said, “How come?”
有一天，他古茹的兄弟僧人来看他。他自然得从壳里出来。于是他出去迎接他，他来了。有一个仪式，这样的圣人到家里来时，你要给他洗脚。这是尊重的事。但这位圣者叫他不要做。他就问：“为什么？”
He said, “You are polluted, let anybody of your disciple wash my feet, I know this is a ritual, I have to go through but you don’t do that.”
他说：“你被污染了，让你任何一个弟子来给我洗脚，我知道这是仪式，我得走这个过场，但你不要做。”
It was very insulting, you know, his ego got hurt, so he had to pretend he has no ego, he said, “As you say sir, holy sir, it is all right, all right, so and so you wash the feet.”
这非常侮辱人，你知道，他的小我受了伤，所以他得假装自己没有小我，他说：“如您所说，先生，圣洁的先生，好的，好的，某某你来洗脚。”
his ego got hurt, so he had to pretend he has no ego, he said, “As you say sir, holy sir, it is all right, all right, so and so you wash the feet.”

So they washed the feet, so the saint came in and they sat down. When he was very lonely with him, he said, “Sir, I respect you, I have a faith on your knowledge, I was doing all right, I was in perfect ecstasy all the time. But today I have been so badly insulted by you that that one humble privilege of mine has been denied by you to me and in the presence of all the disciples you have told me I am a polluted person, I have no right to touch your feet. I request your honor if you can enlighten me on that.”
于是他们洗了脚，圣人进来，大家坐下。当他与他独处时，他说：“先生，我敬重您，我相信您的知识，我一直做得很好，我一直处在完美的狂喜之中。但今天我被您如此严重地羞辱，我那一份谦卑的特权被您剥夺了，而且在所有弟子面前，您说我是个被污染的人，我没有权利碰您的脚。我请求您，如果您能就此给我指点。”
He said, “If it not was the spirit of your Guru who was my friend, I would never have visited you, number one. Number two, it is obligatory on me to tell you what is the right consciousness is.”
他说：“如果不是你古茹的灵——他是我的朋友——我绝不会来看你，这是第一。第二，我有义务告诉你什么才是正确的意识。”
He said, “Sir, I like to listen to that.”
他说：“先生，我愿意听。”
He said, “Look, from a selfless man you have become selfish.”

He said, “Sir, how much you can say that way, all the time I am with God?”
他说：“先生，您怎么能那样说呢，我一直都和神在一起？”
He said, “Which God?”
他说：“哪个神？”
“Sir, my God.”

人，你变成了一个自私的人。”
He said, “Sir, how much you can say that way, all the time I am with God?”
他说：“先生，您怎么能那样说呢，我一直都和神在一起？”
He said, “Which God?”
他说：“哪个神？”
“Sir, my God.”
“先生，我的神。”
He said, “You fool, that is selfishness. You are with your God. That your little tiny God. You should have been with everybody’s God. God is in everything, everywhere and if you would have found God in everything, everywhere and you would not have lost your equilibrium, then you are real one.”
他说：“你这个傻瓜，那就是自私。你和你的神在一起。你那个小小的神。你本该和每个人的神在一起。神在一切之中、无处不在，如果你能在一切之中、无处不在找到神，而且没有失去你的平衡，那你才是真正的那一位。”
He said, “I have not lost anything. I contemplate on God.”
他说：“我没有失去任何东西。我冥想神。”
He said, “No. You are phobic.”
他说：“不。你有恐惧症。”
He was not a psychiatrist of modern time. But the Guru told him, “You are afraid, you are real afraid. You have taken this as a cover. Your meditation by yourself is for yourself. You are weak. You don’t want to come out.”
他不是现代的精神科医生。但古茹告诉他：“你害怕，你真的害怕。你把这当作一个掩护。你独自的冥想是为了你自己。你很软弱。你不想出来。”
Now he couldn’t tell a lie, he said, “That’s true. But what should I do?”

He said, “Oh fool, when you were out, everybody was meditating on you, and you were doubling it, tripling it, quadruplicating it. That is why your Guru said do it for my sake. He was a free soul, he had nothing to ask you for. He knew your weaknesses, he told you to do something for his sake so that all could have happened. But when you were right down the borderline you ran away.”
他说：“哦，傻瓜，当你在外面的时候，每个人都在冥想你，而你把它加倍、三倍、四倍地放大。这就是为什么你的古茹说，为了我的缘故去做。他是一个自由的灵魂/真我，他没有什么要向你求的。他知道你的弱点，他让你为了他的缘故去做一些事，好让一切都能发生。但当你正走到边界线上时，你逃跑了。”
He said, “Oh lord, oh sage, tell me what is this theory of altered state of consciousness? Why we when want to have a handle in our hand, why we slip? What is this about?”
他说：“哦，主啊，哦，圣者，请告诉我，这个意识改变状态的理论是什么？为什么当我们想手里有个把手时，我们会滑脱？这是怎么回事？”
Then the sage replied. “We put an effort, we wing our way to that, but when we catch it we do not become weightless. It is the state of weightlessness which can keep us comfortable there. But that ego, the heaviness of the ego brings down all the way.”
然后那位圣人回答说。“我们付出努力，我们展翅飞向那里，但当我们抓住它时，我们并没有变得没有重量。正是那种没有重量的状态，才能让我们在那里感到舒适。但那个小我，小我的沉重会把我们一路拽下来。”

In each one of you there is God. You are a part of God. Therefore, God is a part of you. You are a creature, like a wooden piece, a wood which has been turned into a statue, has the whole personality of the carpenter, of the artist. Because he is the one who has turned the whole thing and he has, applied mind they call it.
你们每个人内在都有神。你是神的一部分。因此，神是你的一部分。你是一个造物，就像一块木头，一块被雕成雕像的木头，带着那位木匠、那位艺术家的整个人格。因为是他把整件事雕琢出来的，他运用了心智，他们这么称呼它。
What is an applied mind? When you concentrate on anything and give it a shape it becomes your applied mind. Student is an applied mind of the Guru. Student is not in existence, student is an applied mind of the Guru. Student is a Guru, Guru, it is the light of the Guru, wherever he goes represents, speaks, stands, talks, behaves, acts, sleeps, gets up, goes, walks, sit down, his totality represents his Guru, the dispeller of the darkness. How grave he is, what his spirit is, what his consciousness is. That is what Guru is. Guru is not a person. Guru gives Gian. Who manifests that Gian? Chela. Guru tells truth, who manifests truth? Chela. Who is great? Who manifests or who gives? Tell me.
什么是应用心智？当你专注于任何事物并赋予它一个形状，它就变成了你的应用心智。学生是古茹的应用心智。学生并不独立存在，学生是古茹的应用心智。学生就是古茹，古茹，它是古茹的光，无论他走到哪里，都代表着、说着、站着、谈着、举止着、行动着、睡着、醒来、走着、坐下，他的整体都代表着他的古茹，那驱散黑暗的人。他有多庄重，他的精神是什么，他的意识是什么。那就是古茹。古茹不是一个人。古茹给予智性。谁彰显那份智性？Chela。古茹讲述真理，谁彰显真理？Chela。谁伟大？是彰显的人，还是给予的人？告诉我。
Guru gives Gian. Who manifests that Gian? Chela. Guru tells truth, who manifests truth? Chela. Who is great? Who manifests or who gives? Tell me.
古茹给予智性。谁彰显那份智性？Chela。古茹讲述真理，谁彰显真理？Chela。谁伟大？是彰显的人，还是给予的人？告诉我。
God is great because God manifests. Guru never manifests. It is chela who manifests the Guru.
神伟大，因为神彰显。古茹从不彰显。是chela彰显了古茹。
Suppose somebody writes, ‘Shree Pradhan Satya Baba Gandharva Guru Maha Jagt Paramatma Padh Yogiraj Shivraj Swamiraj, hankad bankad Ram,’ whatever you can call it, you know.

About twenty-six titles and there is a big billboard somewhere. Does that mean a thing? But if there are twenty thousand people running around very beautiful, white they wear, white is their consciousness, white are their deeds, white they represent in their morality and ethics, in their circumstances and in their circumvent self within, they talk, their sweetness, and their gentleness, their honor, their grace. You know what will happen? People will start curiously ‘hey, whom they follow,’ ‘oh there is some Siri so and so,’ ‘where is he?’ That man may not exist even. Somebody will get crazy to find him somewhere wherever he might be hiding. So who manifest whom?
大约有二十六个头衔，某个地方还有一块大广告牌。这有什么意义吗？但如果有两万人四处奔走，非常美丽，他们穿白色，白色是他们的意识，白色是他们的行为，他们在道德和伦理中、在处境中、在内在的自我中代表白色，他们说话，他们的甜美、他们的温柔、他们的荣誉、他们的优雅。你知道会发生什么吗？人们会开始好奇「嘿，他们跟随谁」，「哦，有个叫 Siri 某某的」，「他在哪儿？」那个人可能根本不存在。有人会发疯似地到处找他，不管他可能藏在哪儿。那么，是谁彰显了谁？
and so,’ ‘where is he?’ That man may not exist even. Somebody will get crazy to find him somewhere wherever he might be hiding. So who manifest whom?

Exactly the same way, your own deed manifests you. You are God. But you can be only manifested as God if your deeds are like God. If they are like devil you are a devil. You are manifested by yourself.
完全一样，你自己的行为彰显你自己。你就是神。但只有当你的行为像神一样时，你才能被彰显为神。如果它们像魔鬼，你就是魔鬼。你是被你自己彰显的。
Tell me your friends and I tell you who you are. Is it western or it is eastern?

YB: Western, that’s a great scripture. Man is judged by the company he keeps.

He said, “All right, I have got tomorrow morning fifteen guests of mine. They will be all in by the breakfast time. You make a program that by eleven o'clock I may know who is holy among them and who is unholy.”

He just made the whole program.

And he said, “Honorable guests, if you give us the choice, we’ll be glad to fix you for that.”

Suppose there was a program, holy program and a worldly program. Very charming. Very charming. And the last that program was that there will be a temple dance and there will be a court dance. They were well balanced. There was nothing to which was different between the two.

Which should alter the state of consciousness.
