Now the purpose of life is multiple, multiple purpose in the sense you are born the first day with pure innocence, you are here right, you are here and then you start learning that nine months before you never had to feed, you never had to wear clothes, you never had to pee, you never had to go to potty, you had never do to anything, you were all alive and well. YB: What else you want? Then you get angry why you came out, it is called birth trauma. When you come out mostly they hang you legs up, head down, they clean your mouth, take the whole mucous out and you are asked to breathe, it is the called the breath of birth, birth breath.

YB：你还想要什么？然后你因为自己出来了而生气，这就叫出生创伤。你出来的时候，他们大多把你倒吊起来，头朝下，清理你的嘴，把黏液全都弄出来，然后让你呼吸，这就叫出生之息，出生呼吸。

And it has been presumingly assumed and taken into consideration ninety point nine percent that birth time is very traumic, tragic and harsh, not according to the one who is giving you birth they are very tender and beautiful, but for you the first harshness you experience at the time of birth, whereas in the womb of the mother you have infinite resources and sources and protection and comfort and everything and your all senses were being catered to in absolute harmony outside moment the cord was cut and everything start happening, you started breathing with the first breath you started knowing that you are in a alien place, understand?

而且人们一直假定、也一直认为，百分之九十点九，出生那一刻是非常创伤、悲惨而严酷的——不是对生你的那个人来说，他们非常温柔、美好，而是对你来说，你经历的第一份严酷就是在出生那一刻；而在母亲的子宫里，你有无限的资源、来源、保护和舒适，一切都有，你所有的感官都在绝对的和谐中被满足；可一旦脐带被剪断，一切就开始发生，你开始呼吸，随着第一口气，你开始知道自己在一个陌生的地方，明白吗？

That is why there is a Dharma, Dharma is to make you understand that you are in a alien place. Job of Dharma is not to make you feel comfortable and very much totally attached and drenched into the earth, job of Dharma is to let you not forget your first experience when you were born and you learn that this earth and life here is to live in a alien place. Do you understand that? Which is known to be forgotten after couple years.

这就是为什么有正法（Dharma），正法就是要让你明白，你是在一个陌生的地方。正法的工作不是让你觉得舒服，让你完全执着、彻底浸没在这片土地里；正法的工作是让你不要忘记你出生时的第一份体验，让你学到，这片土地和这里的生活，就是要活在一个陌生的地方。你明白吗？而这件事，据说过几年就会被忘掉。

It is a habit that when you go in environments you become the environments, you lose your identity; though you may not lose your identity, that's why you were given Id to be having an identity instead of you use the ego to lose your basic identity. I tell you the main cause of your problem; main cause of your problem is you take over the environmental identity and lose your own, that's why everybody,

这是一种习惯：你一进入某种环境，你就变成那个环境，你失去自己的身份；虽然你也许并没有失去自己的身份——这就是为什么你被赋予 Id，让你有一个身份，可你却用小我去丢掉你基本的身份。我告诉你你问题的根本原因；你问题的根本原因，就是你接管了环境的身份，丢掉了自己的身份，所以每个人，

main cause of your problem is you take over the environmental identity and lose your own, that's why everybody,

That's why you are all unhappy because you are basically had your own first experience, it is not to do Sadhana, to do yoga, and do Dhiana and read Dharma, and put fire around you and sit in the center and go to the top of the mountain, try to fly and levitate, follow the yogis and Guru, lose all the money and interest in life, put ash on your body, you have been crazy for thousands of years and nobody has understood why, at least I have never understood, we are crazy for what?

这就是为什么你们都不快乐，因为你们基本上都有过自己的第一次体验，它不是去做萨达那、做瑜伽、做禅定、读正法，在你周围点上火，坐在中间，爬到山顶，试着飞起来、悬浮起来，跟随瑜伽士和古茹，失去所有的钱和对生活的兴趣，把灰抹在身上——你们已经疯了几千年，没人明白为什么，至少我从来没明白过，我们到底在为什么发疯？

Our first experience when we were born the first day we did learn that this is a alien place, do you remember, can you recall, it is called first cry, that first cry indicated that you said to (?), "O my God, where I am, what I am and what is going to happen to me. Any thought which is caught by the ego becomes the emotion and every emotion which is caught by the personality become the desire and every desire wants to achieve the object, either you achieve it or you, or you,

哦，出生的人，试着去明白，你无法思考，即使你想上百万次，你也做不了任何事，而人们以为他们无法思考，其实事实是你无法思考。念头的过程，在一眨眼间释放出上千个念头，是你自动的过程。任何被小我抓住的念头都会变成情绪，任何被情绪抓住的人格都会变成欲望，而每一个欲望都想得到那个对象，要么你得到它，要么你，要么你，

YB: Don't, if you don't you are miserable and if you achieve it you are miserable, you know why? When you achieve, when you achieve then you want to achieve more, when you don't achieve you are miserable why you didn't, the process of life continues.

YB：不要，如果你得不到，你就痛苦，如果你得到了，你也痛苦，你知道为什么吗？当你得到，当你得到时你就想得到更多，当你得不到时你就痛苦，为什么你没得到，生命的过程就这样继续下去。

you achieve, when you achieve then you want to achieve more, when you don't achieve you are miserable why you didn't, the process of life continues.

There are some guest who come in a hotel, they just stay there, they are very comfortable, they don't mess around, they just take the reasonable comfort which that hotel provides and when the leave they pay the bill, they give everybody tip and they quit right, but when they come next time, everybody says, 'sir, welcome, see you after a long time, you are healthy, your wife is healthy,' the guy may be bachelor, but all the courtesies are extended and sometime if you stay in a motel for very many long time you will be surprised when you go there, there will be a flower, bouquet of flower.

有些客人住进旅馆，就只是待在那儿，他们很舒服，不胡闹，只享受那家旅馆提供的合理舒适，离开时付清账单，给每个人小费，然后就走了，对吧。可他们下次再来时，每个人都说：「先生，欢迎，好久不见，您很健康，您太太很健康」——这人可能还是单身，但所有的礼数都尽到了。有时候如果你在一家汽车旅馆住得足够久，你会惊讶地发现，再去的时候，那里会有一朵花，一束花。

and sometime if you stay in a motel for very many long time you will be surprised when you go there, there will be a flower, bouquet of flower.

I go and stay in one of the motels and they always know and they welcome me, they don't send me bottle of champagne, they send, they learned I love pistachio nuts and this nuts and they will send a bucket of those nuts and flowers, it's a courtesy to welcome. How many of you welcome on this motel called earth? In spite of the fact sometime you are welcome you have a inheritance or you have kind of a situation from trust or you have something like that or things are all smooth for you but you are very uncomfortable. It is just like you stay in a hotel, have a very comfortable place and everything and whole night you just turn the sides and don't sleep. Have you that experience?

我住进其中一家汽车旅馆，他们总是认得我，欢迎我，他们不送我香槟，他们送——他们知道了我喜欢开心果和这种坚果，就会送一桶那样的坚果和花，这是一种欢迎的礼数。你们有多少人欢迎过这个叫地球的汽车旅馆？尽管有时候你被欢迎，你有一份遗产，或者你从信托里得到某种境况，或者你有类似的东西，或者一切对你都很顺，可你非常不舒服。这就像你住在一家旅馆，有个非常舒服的地方，什么都有，可整晚你只是翻来覆去，睡不着。你有过这种体验吗？

you stay in a hotel, have a very comfortable place and everything and whole night you just turn the sides and don't sleep. Have you that experience?

So in this earth, in this motel called earth you live here uncomfortably, why? Because you don't know the purpose. Purpose of being in a motel is to understand that you have to reach the destination or the destiny. What is the destiny? You think to become a Sikh is enough, you think become a Christian is enough, you think to become a Buddhist is enough, you think if you have good meals and your bills are paid, that is enough? My dear friends, that's nothing is enough, the only thing which will be enough is when you can experience Infinity in you, when you become Infinity, when you have the coziness and the feeling as you had the coziness and the feeling of the womb.

所以在这个地球上，在这个叫地球的汽车旅馆里，你住得不舒服，为什么？因为你不知道目的。待在汽车旅馆里的目的，是要明白你必须抵达终点，或者说天命。什么是天命？你以为成为锡克教徒就够了，你以为成为基督徒就够了，你以为成为佛教徒就够了，你以为只要吃得好、账单付清就够了？我亲爱的朋友们，那什么都不够，唯一够的，是当你能在自己之内体验无限，当你成为无限，当你拥有那种舒适和感觉，就像你在子宫里拥有的舒适和感觉。

experience Infinity in you, when you become Infinity, when you have the coziness and the feeling as you had the coziness and the feeling of the womb.

And when you can get rid of that trauma, that birth fear because your hassle starts the day one and then you continue and then you progress and then you develop more fears, more desires, more environments come on you. As in fire you go on putting wood it flames higher, so as you go on fulfilling desire then more desire come in, more desire come in one after the other, it is just like those moth, they come on candle, when you lit the candle one after the other, thousands of them till the whole place around is dirty. Exactly that is the way not to live but that is a reality, that's why we live.

当你能摆脱那份创伤、那份出生的恐惧——因为你的麻烦从第一天就开始了，然后你继续走，然后你前进，然后你滋生出更多的恐惧、更多的欲望，更多的环境压到你身上。就像火里，你不断添柴，火就烧得更高；同样，你不断满足欲望，更多的欲望就来了，更多的欲望一个接一个地来，就像那些飞蛾，它们扑向蜡烛，你点起蜡烛，它们一个接一个地来，成千上万，直到周围整片地方都弄脏了。这恰恰是不该活的方式，但这就是现实，所以我们才活着。

Process of life is not personal, process of life is divine,

生命的过程不是个人的，生命的过程是神圣的，

'Eh jag sach eh kothree iss mae sachay kaa vich vaas. '

a reality, that's why we live.

一个现实，所以我们才活着。

Process of life is not personal, process of life is divine,

生命的过程不是个人的，生命的过程是神圣的，

This whole planet earth is created by a truth called God, therefore God is the only owner of it, not you, therefore don't try to steal pillows, don't try to takeaway the sheets, don't mess around with the TVs, don't steal the hangers and don't ever takeaway the towels; if you do that though that is already pre-included in the rent, rent of -a motel room per day is estimated on twenty percent loss basis, it doesn't matter who steals, everybody pays for it and that is called karma. I don't steal, I pay for it and one who steal he pays for it, he think he is stealing but actually he is not stealing, he has already paid, they don't give you key until you don't give the payment, remember.

这整个地球是由一个叫神的真理创造的，所以神是它唯一的所有者，不是你，所以别想偷枕头，别想拿走床单，别乱动电视，别偷衣架，也永远别拿走毛巾；如果你这么做了——那其实早就预先算进房租里了，汽车旅馆一间房每天的租金是按百分之二十的损耗估算的，谁偷都一样，每个人都为它付钱，这就叫业力（Karma）。我不偷，我为它付钱；偷的人也为它付钱，他以为自己是在偷，其实他不是在偷，他早就付过了，你不付钱他们就不给你钥匙，记住。

So life here is not being understood as Dharmic, life is understood... What you want to be? I want to be a doctor, I want to be this, I want to, want, want, want, want, want, I want to be this, I want to be that, when you ever have thought one day did you say I want to be nothing. One person did realize that, his name was Nanak,

所以这里的生命没有被当作正法（Dharma）来理解，生命被理解成……你想成为什么？我想当医生，我想当这个，我想，想，想，想，想，我想成为这个，我想成为那个；你有没有想过，有一天你说过我想什么都不是吗。有一个人真的领悟了这一点，他的名字叫Nanak，

Somebody said God is my father, somebody said God is my brother, somebody said God is my mother, somebody say God is everything and God was just laughing at all of them. Then came around Guru Nanak and he said, "God is God, beyond that is still God. "

YB：因为他已经证悟了至高之至高。有人说神是我的父亲，有人说神是我的兄弟，有人说神是我的母亲，有人说神就是一切，而神只是对他们所有人笑。后来出现了Guru Nanak，他说：「神就是神，超越那之上的，仍然是神。」

'Oonch uphaar tan ka darbar. '

Jesus Christ is the son of God but still God is beyond. Lord Krishna is Godhead but still the body of the God is somewhere else. Buddha is the knowledge of God but still there is a God. This is a very simple thing but none of you can remember, none of you can know, none of you can feel, why?

至高之至高，超越那之上的，就是你所讨论、谈论、呈现、会见、看见和感受的那一位的殿堂，Guru Arjan Parthakar，Guru Arjan 是完美的神，但仍然有一个神在超越之外。Jesus Christ 是神之子，但仍然神在超越之外。Lord Krishna 是神格，但神的身体仍然在别处。Buddha 是神的知识，但仍然有一个神。这是非常简单的事，但你们没有人能记得，没有人能知道，没有人能感受到，为什么？

The person is dead. And if that is the only way to admit that there is no quarrel, no fight, it's all peace, then why not to do it when you are alive,

我的意思是说，我们不就是这样吗？我们不明白正在发生什么，这是一个（？）在说：所有理由都停止了，所有逻辑都停止了，所有争论都停止了，所有小我和争斗都结束了，为什么？因为这个人死了。而如果这是唯一能承认没有争吵、没有争斗、一切皆和平的方式，那为什么不在你还活着的时候就这样做呢，

The person is dead. And if that is the only way to admit that there is no quarrel, no fight, it's all peace, then why not to do it when you are alive,

Mukta，什么是 Mukta？Mukta kar bhai，bhai kar mukta，结束它，为什么要争斗。生命的目的就只是活着，因为神希望它被活出来；死亡的目的就只是死去，因为神希望它死去，神希望你……但你说的是：不，生命的目的是因为我想活，死亡的目的是因为我活不下去。这是你所想的，不是它本来的样子。我们可曾想过，如果我们造出 8000 万吨级的氢弹，别人也会造出来？不，我们从没想过，我们以为只有我们会拥有它，我们是那……
