YB: Very fast. It is the only Yoga where you can be married and householder and live a normal or abnormal life still you can experience spirituality. In other Yoga you have to be celibate, single, and it takes very long time. That's the difference. This is actually the householder Yoga. But it's very high and very quick. So householder not have to spend his whole life for it.

YB: Every soul has a root, that's called samskaras. Then it has the orbit and then it has the destiny. We put three together and make up the spiritual name. Spiritual name is a directive, what your destiny is. You live up to it or not it's up to you.

YB: Personal. The object of it is to achieve... if you are not in a state of tranquility either you are depressed or you are aggressive then you are not... just see this, this is a man, woman, and the neutral. Tranquil. The negative mind, positive mind and the neutral mind. If you are out of balance, you either will be depressed or you will be aggressive. Both states won't make you decide right. Either you will be insecure or you will be absolutely insensitive. Therefore tranquility is necessity and that is human. We are not animals that we have to fight to get everything. We can logic, we can reason, we can request, we can talk, that all needs tranquility.
YB：个人的。它的目标是达成……如果你不处在宁静的状态里，你要么抑郁，要么攻击性很强，那你就不是……看看这个，这是男人、女人，还有中性。宁静。负面心智、正面心智和中性心智。如果你失去平衡，你要么会抑郁，要么会攻击性很强。这两种状态都不会让你做出正确的决定。你要么会没有安全感，要么会完全麻木不仁。所以宁静是必需的，那是人之为人。我们不是动物，不必为了得到一切而争斗。我们可以逻辑，我们可以推理，我们可以请求，我们可以交谈，这一切都需要宁静。

YB: It is just as you eat food everyday because Kundalini Yoga gives you inner strength to face the outer world. That's why you need it everyday to face the difficult times because otherwise they become worst. Without your inner strength you can't deal with your life. You need perpetual endurance. And that is what Kundalini Yoga is about.
YB：就像你每天吃饭一样，因为昆达里尼瑜伽（Kundalini Yoga）给你内在的力量去面对外在的世界。所以你需要每天练它，去面对艰难的时期，否则那些时期会变得更糟。没有内在的力量，你无法应对你的生活。你需要持久的耐力。这就是昆达里尼瑜伽的意义所在。

Because in Catholic religion you have to have guilt. You are born in sin, you share sin, therefore you are the sinner so pay to the Church, Yoga charges at the gate, and tell you be happy. It's a original science. Every religion came out of it. It has no, no yes or no to it. It is for the mankind. Yogi is the one whom opposite pair do not affect. Opposite pair do not affect.
因为在天主教里，你必须要有罪疚感。你生来就有罪，你分担着罪，所以你就是罪人，那就向教会付钱吧，瑜伽在门口收费，然后告诉你：要快乐。它是一门原初的科学。每一种宗教都从它里面出来。它没有，没有是或否。它是为人类的。瑜伽士（Yogi）是二元对立（Pair of the opposite）影响不到的人。二元对立影响不到。

YB: Without positive what else you can do? Be miserable and make others miserable? There is no control system. Control system is insecurity. You have to be gracious to expand. And that should not matter, that applies to everybody. So being negative doesn't work. That's why the countries have territories of control. Government has parities for control. That's why there is a trouble in the world. We are on the verge of war, but under pressure from the world President Bush decided to communicate, to talk. That was the world pressure, positive pressure. Otherwise everything is set. So we are winning. Peace is winning.
YB：不靠正向的，你还能做什么？自己痛苦，也让别人痛苦？根本没有控制体系。控制体系就是不安全感。你必须优雅，才能扩展。而这不该有什么分别，它对每个人都适用。所以抱着负面的态度行不通。国家才要划出控制的疆域。政府才要设对等的控制。世界上的麻烦就是这么来的。我们正处在战争的边缘，但在世界的压力下，布什总统决定沟通、对话。那是世界的压力，正向的压力。不然一切都已经定好了。所以我们在赢。和平在赢。

YB: I was sixteen and a half year old when I was master. I started my life later. When you were walking naked, I was wearing robes. Yeah, when you were nudo I was wearing robe.

Translator: Is that possible that doing Yoga also the negative mind can increase?

YB: No, no, no, negative mind is already very powerful. It is the first mind and every thought has to come to this mind because that gives you right to protect yourself. But it goes into the subconscious and pull up your hidden thoughts and reinforces the negative thought. But if you have a positive mind to work just positive, then you can work with tranquility and with a neutral mind. This is the central phase. That's the picture of the mind. And normally we don't do it. We will say, 'oh this is bad, so and so also did it, I had experience last year of it, he stole from me, he stole from me, he stole from me. ' Everybody is a thief. That's not correct way of thinking.

That's why we need Yoga to be powerful, to have endurance.

YB: Why? There are... everybody has his own system. People don't teach normally Kundalini Yoga. They do Hatha Yoga and slow and gradual and some are in Bhakti Yoga, some are in Gian Yoga, householder cannot wait for all this time. So they found this way too.
YB：为什么？有……每个人都有自己的体系。人们通常不教昆达里尼瑜伽。他们教哈他瑜伽，缓慢而循序渐进，有些是奉爱瑜伽，有些是智慧瑜伽， householder 等不了那么长时间。所以他们找到了这条路。

YB: Everyone is valid. You must understand it takes a thief to prove a saint. Negative proves the positive. So everything is valid. Whatever exists in this world is valid. Question is what you want to adapt. You can be a saint, you can be a thief, you can be nobody, you can be somebody. It's your choice.
YB：每一种都有效。你必须明白，需要一个小偷来证明圣人的存在。负面证明了正面。所以一切都是有效的。这个世界上存在的一切都是有效的。问题是你想选择什么。你可以成为圣人，你可以成为小偷，你可以成为无名之辈，你可以成为大人物。这是你的选择。

Feel it, prove it, work for it, imagine it, and let your action support you, be always positive, be always generous, be always loving, be always honorable and graceful, be always honest and truthful, that's what saint is. You can do it all. It's not difficult. It's not difficult at all.

YB: Destiny is definite. Whether you can reach it or not that's the problem. We help you to reach the destiny. Not to be away from it. Human mind is weak, insecure, and it wastes lot of life and lot of time in insecurities. That's why they cannot reach their destiny. That's why we ask them to have a perpetual endurance and help, so they can make it.

YB: Destiny is not negative. It is the fate, which is negative. Fate eats you up on the way. Destiny or fate are two sides of the same coin. If you will not reach the destiny, you will reach your fate. So question is whether you want to reach the destiny or you don't want to reach the destiny. It's very difficult to go on the top of the mountain; it's very easy to fall at the bottom. That's the law of gravity, make your choice. You want to sweat or you want to fall. Both hurts. Sweat is difficult and fall is hurt. But one is achievement, one is losing. Do as you want.
YB：命运不是负面的。负面的是宿命。宿命会在半路上把你吃掉。命运和宿命是同一枚硬币的两面。如果你到不了命运，你就会落到宿命里。所以问题是，你到底想不想到达命运。爬到山顶非常难，掉到谷底非常容易。这就是重力的法则，你自己选。你想流汗，还是想掉下去。两者都痛。流汗是难，掉下去是伤。但一个是成就，一个是失去。随你便。

YB: Oh yeah, by experience, that's the beauty of Kundalini Yoga, in this you experience, it is not talk, it's not a philosophy, it's an experience. What we did in that course was experience. We didn't do hours of talking and convincing people, we don't do that. If you want to convince as a talk you can read the books and library and go to lectures and read newspaper. Kundalini Yoga is not talking it is doing and experiencing. And knowing that you are getting something.
YB：哦对，靠体验，这就是昆达里尼瑜伽（Kundalini Yoga）的美，在它里面你去体验，它不是空谈，不是哲学，它是体验。我们在那个课程里做的就是体验。我们没有花好几个小时去讲、去说服人，我们不干那个。如果你想靠讲话去说服人，你可以去读书、去图书馆、去听讲座、看报纸。昆达里尼瑜伽不是讲，是做，是体验。并且知道你在得到东西。

YB: The boy was very polite. When we teach some courses are very hard because we want the best experience. In winter solstice we will do the Yoga, we will sit about six-seven hours straight. That's how we do it. This is a little class everyday slowly, slowly, little experience everyday, little achievement everyday. But once a while we do it whole sale.

Origin of everything is God, everything comes from God, everything goes to God. Everything belongs to God. It never belongs to individual. You all have to die, you all have to be born to die, you have come to go. That's called Ava-Gavan. We come to go. If we remember that and we are good, then we know where we are going. Otherwise we don't. We just die. Miserable.
万物的源头是神，万物来自神，万物归于神。万物都属于神。它从来不属于个人。你们都得死，你们都得生下来去死，你们来了就是为了走。那叫 Ava-Gavan。我们来，是为了走。如果我们记住这一点，并且做个好人，那我们就知道我们要去哪里。否则我们就不知道。我们就只是死掉。悲惨。

YB: As we are different, we are some are six foot tall, some are five foot tall, some are born in Italy, some are born in America.

YB: Oh it is diversity in unity. Why Sun? Sun has many rays. At this moment it is darkness here, in America it is a day. Why? Because it is round. Everybody has a orbit to go. Everybody has a distance to make; everybody has to reach a goal. That's why it is different for everybody. There are cars and cars and cars. But everybody has a different license number.

YB: Many, many thousands of years ago. From the time of Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve. Because you know the western culture goes only few thousand years ago. Oriental culture goes beyond with time.

YB: Difference is your Karma will decide whether you fall in the hand of fate or you are walking towards the destiny. Because if you steal then you are a thief. That's your Karma, but if you give then you are a saint. But you have to do it.
YB：区别在于，你的业力会决定你是落入命运的手中，还是正走向天命。因为如果你偷窃，你就是小偷。那是你的业力，但如果你给予，你就是圣徒。可你必须去做。

Translator: So you can also not follow your destiny and follow your Karma, they are different ways.

YB: No, the Karma is action, Karma is action and Karma takes you either to the destiny or to the fate. But as a individual you have the right to decide. As we decided to do Yoga. Some people decided tonight to go to the bar to drink. Some people decided to go to a disco dance. Some people decided not to come. It's different. Individual is sovereign by its own right. Nothing happens by our planning. It depends on our action and reaction. Action has equal and opposite reaction. If you are good, goodness will come to you. If you are secure you will expand, if you are generous you will be prosperous, if you are in love you will be peaceful, if you are strong you will be honorable.
YB：不，业力就是行动，业力就是行动，业力会把你带向天命，或者带向命运。但作为个体，你有权决定。就像我们决定练瑜伽。有些人今晚决定去酒吧喝酒。有些人决定去迪斯科跳舞。有些人决定不来。这不一样。个体凭自己的权利就是自主的。没有什么是靠我们的计划发生的。它取决于我们的作用与反作用。作用有相等而相反的反作用。如果你是善良的，善良就会来到你身上。如果你有安全感，你就会扩展，如果你慷慨，你就会丰盛，如果你在爱里，你就会平和，如果你强大，你就会受人尊敬。

YB: I am not satisfied; it is not my job to be satisfied. If one walks one inch, I tell him second inch is there. If I'll become satisfied I'll be just not doing my job. I want to produce people ten times better than me. That's the way I work. I am not satisfied or dissatisfied. I believe in working to achieve the highest. I was medically told not to take this journey and my health did not permit me, that's why I am fifteen days late. But still I did it. I don't stop. That's how I have lived my sixty-one years. Keep up and keep going. Trust God and be good. It works for me.

You can't go back into the... I know what you are saying. That is a psychological phenomenon, lot of our situation are by birth. Second is by our parental upbringing. Third is by pressure and the environments. Fourth is our own experience. Fifth is our own mental attitude. Sixth is our aptitude. And we have every man has a mission. Every mission has a magnitude. Every magnitude to achieve needs manners and attitude. So everybody has tried to create a little bit of science, my personal feeling is one time birth is enough.

YB: I know I counsel them. I have more people who go for rebirthing experience and come and counsel with me than anybody else. I know the problem. One girl came to me, she was a very fine girl, very good, there was absolutely no problem and she loved her parents, she went through this rebirthing experience, and found out her mother is a devil. It took me six months to clean her head.

But sometime you can get an experience, which you do not know where it comes from, you can't handle it. The guide is not powerful enough, teacher is not right, counsel is not good, and it can have aftereffect.

I was born in rich family, I had all the time to study Yoga with great masters, if I would have born in a poor family I might not have been in a position to do it. Or if I would have born in a poor family that only thing I would have done and nothing else. So there is a effect.
YB：很多……你能说出的每一种联系。如果你出生在富裕家庭……我就出生在富裕家庭，我一直有时间跟伟大的大师们学习瑜伽，如果我出生在贫穷家庭，我可能就没有条件这么做。或者如果我出生在贫穷家庭，那就会是我唯一做的事，别的什么也做不了。所以是有影响的。
