YB：今天我想讲得很慢，这样你们能听懂我；如果听不懂，就请我重复。我这边没什么可急的，你们也不必急着听懂。「我们为什么痛苦？」
Now I am going to work on this series through this time and space which I have as many lectures I like to make it very slow but really we like to understand.
现在我要在这段时间和空间里讲这一系列，我有多少次讲课都行，我想把它讲得很慢，但我们真的想弄明白。
First we become miserable because we are insensitive, it doesn't make any sense why human being is insensitive. We are insensitive to many things. First the greatest part of life where we are insensitive to is our own self. My identity. Vyas says human being is one animal which never establishes identity but lives. After Vyas, it is a matter of thousands of years, thousands of years, came Guru Nanak who said first thing Sat Nam. My identity is truth.

Now in-between everybody made you... I mean to say these are tribal religion, I don't want to put down any religion to be very honest with you because these tribal religions are byproduct of time and space and when thing is a time and space and one who believes in a religion he gets very upset. Because when you attack somebody's religion his whole setup is attacked, so why should we do that. But it's a tragedy. It's a human tragedy. You look at the word. Every religion looks at it. Every religion has a mantra.

Let us start with Hindu religion. Om, God is infinite. God is infinite, what about you? And I won't discuss others because they are much worst than this and if I start saying then I have to speak truth, if I speak truth it will hurt and when truth hurts one has the right to bypass. So everybody talk about God, about achieving God, achieving Godhood, achieving this hood, that hood, but what about their hood?

'I want to be this, I want to be that, I want this relationship, I want that relationship, I want to talk to that person, I don't want to talk to them,' I can understand all that jazz. But what about you? And don't misunderstand, Guru Nanak paid a heavy cost. People threw shoes at him, people threw stones at him, people told him he is a bad spirit. I mean I have not matched up to that, normally... slander was so heavy that Guru Nanak wrote himself, koyi kahey poothna, koyi kahey bethala. Somebody tells me I am bad spirit, somebody tells I am deadly this, why? Because he said one thing, Sat Nam. Truth is my identity.

And once the nucleus of the identity is not established soul cannot move, soul cannot be realized, the flow of spirit what you call is spiritual, it looks bogus. That is why on spiritual path people fall apart. In business people fall apart. Are you kidding, somebody is a vice president, his salary is quarter million a month.
而一旦这身份的核心没有立住，灵魂就无法移动，灵魂就无法被了悟，你所谓灵性的那股精神之流，看起来就是假的。所以走在灵性道路上的人会散架。做生意的人也会散架。你开玩笑吧，有人是副总裁，月薪 25 万。

You are laughing, he is in that Washington hospital. He couldn't handle it. He has facility, he has wealth, that is his exact salary which I am talking to you. Two hundred fifty thousand dollars a month. And guy one day sitting in his office went nuts, nobody knows what happened to him. They are trying everything, meeting yogis, swamis, even somebody of them has gone to Japan. They are willing to chant that Nam Devo Hiringo Keyo because somebody told them that can bring everything, including the senses.

YB: I mean, let us raise this question sensibly. Why? Because we do not have a nucleus, we do not have a hub on which we can revolve. We do not have identity. That is why Guru Gobind Singh established the identity of the Khalsa and gave him the reihath, gave him something to do, something to wear, some do's and don'ts which are human. Not that he wanted everybody to look alike and he was on a trip, had he been on a trip all the hill chiefs wanted to be his disciple, he would have had hundreds and thousands of his disciples, everything was set. He never chose that, he said no.

They said, "We can give you armies, we can give you wealth, we will be your disciple, all this kingdom belongs to you. "

Khalsa is the army of God alone, why? God has a identity. Infinite identity, so is the Khalsa. So each individual is pure, pure in the soul. When the mind relates to body it is miserable, when it relates to soul it is happy because soul is light. So mind is enlightened because it looks towards the soul, the light. When we look to the body, body is opaque, dark, so mind is in darkness. Whether Yogi Bhajan teaches you this or he doesn't teach you this, it makes no difference. If we do not establish the identity, many people freak out, "Sir, I can't do it. "

Because life has to have identity, that's the first law of life, Sat Nam Ek Ong Kar, you are the creation of that Creator. That is elementary statement. First complementary statement is Sat Nam. Your identity is truth. Without this everything is fake. Everything is fake and what you can do? Stretch it, it will tear apart. I do not know, perhaps you know it or not, people who come to 3HO and they want to work with us they are very honest. When they leave they are very honest, because they could not find their soul, they couldn't continue, they couldn't stretch it, they couldn't fake it indefinitely, they had to fall apart.

3HO is not a normal catering thing, there is no catering service in 3HO, that's why you always feel well in 3HO nobody loves anybody, everybody is uptight. Why not? Everybody has to be uptight because he becomes loose he is lost. Nobody in 3HO is going to be loose. Everybody in 3HO has come from a very crazy, crazy world. They know, so long they remember from where they have come they are very uptight. Because they want to progress, they want to continue, they don't want to fall apart. Why you blame them for that? Why you are upset?
3HO 不是个普通的招待所，3HO 里没有招待服务，所以你们总觉得在 3HO 里没人爱谁，人人都绷得紧。为什么不呢？每个人都必须绷紧，因为一松就迷失了。3HO 里没人会松懈。3HO 里的每个人都来自一个极其疯狂、疯狂的世界。他们知道，只要还记得自己是从哪里来的，他们就绷得很紧。因为他们想进步，想继续走下去，不想散架。你为什么要为这个怪他们？你为什么要不高兴？
There are people in 3HO who never knew that they will ever come out of the mental hospital, now they bring people out of mental hospital. Such a reverse they have seen, will they not protect their heritage or what they have earned? Some have worked seven years, some have worked nine years, some have worked four years to establish identity, it didn't happen just in one minute, God said (?) be so, that bang theory, it was not that.
3HO 里有些人，从前从不知道自己有一天能走出精神病院，现在他们却把别人从精神病院里带出来。他们见过这样的反转，难道不会保护自己的传承，或自己挣来的一切吗？有些人干了 7 年，有些人干了 9 年，有些人干了 4 年，才建立起身份，这不是一分钟就成的事，不是神说（？）「要有」，那种大爆炸理论，不是那样的。

Nothing happened like a bang. Just to get name Eshwara she has to run around with me three and a half year. Where I'll go teach there is Eshwara. I said, "What are you? How you came here? "
没有什么是一下子炸出来的。光是为了得到 Eshwara 这个名字，她就得跟着我东奔西跑三年半。我去哪儿教，哪儿就有 Eshwara。我说：「你是干什么的？你怎么到这儿来的？」
"Sir, just to follow you. "

I said, "Well, you are like a God, wherever I go I find you, your name is Eshwara. A living God. "

Now if somebody tells me, "Well, this girl has become 3HO. "

Are you kidding? It takes lot of hitchhiking. Mental preparation, running around, it didn't happen in one day. And still there is a fear if gurprasad, Guru's grace be and our sensitivity to continue what we have achieved so that we can achieve more, otherwise you can fall apart. Some people were Mukhiya Singh Sahib, regional director, fell apart like a boy makes a castle on the sand beach, a one water wave came, it is flat, just like that. Seven, eight years of hard work washed away just with one stroke.

What 3HO gives you? Sensitivity to identity, 3HO doesn't give you anything, you people don't understand what it offers you. It doesn't offer you God. God run after you, you need not run after God, you are crazy. I mean, you are all because thousands of years of brainwashing has happened to you. 3HO is a technology which establish you in the state of sensitivity so that you can know the identity. Sometime people ask me, "Yogiji, how can you answer every question? "
3HO给了你什么？对身份的敏感，3HO不给你任何东西，你们这些人不明白它给了你什么。它不给你神。神追着你跑，你不需要追着神跑，你疯了。我的意思是，你们都是因为几千年的洗脑发生在你们身上。3HO是一门技术，它让你安住在敏感的状态中，这样你就能知道身份。有时人们问我：“Yogiji，你怎么能回答每一个问题？”
Nobody asks any question, every question is to establish identity and the answer is Sat Nam. Why I should bother? I don't use my super brain to answer anybody, because all I know is every question has an answer in itself, simply catch it and tell the person. Sensitivity to identity is the gateway to soul, soul is the source of spirit and flow of the spirit will make you spiritual and being spiritual you can be everybody.
没有人问任何问题，每一个问题都是为了确立身份，而答案就是Sat Nam。我为什么要费心？我不用我的超级大脑来回答任何人，因为我知道每一个问题本身就有答案，只要抓住它并告诉那个人。对身份的敏感是通往灵魂的门户，灵魂是灵性的源头，灵性的流动会让你变得有灵性，而有灵性你可以成为任何人。

We don't run restaurant for this or that. We run restaurant to do Sadhana. You are what you eat. We want to feed people healthy food. Every service we do in restaurant is not money, it is counted before God. To make God's people healthy we cook for them, we serve them, within our means we try to give them reasonable source of health. We chant, we cook, we serve, we are not born chefs. We believed that we are what we eat, we believe to eat healthy, we wanted everybody to be healthy, everybody can't cook, everybody can't learn cooking in a day, so we opened up a restaurant. We called it Golden Temple Conscious Cookery.
我们开餐厅不是为了这个或那个。我们开餐厅是为了做萨达那（Sadhana）。你吃什么就是什么。我们想给人们提供健康的食物。我们在餐厅做的每一项服务都不是为了钱，它是在神面前被计算的。为了让神的人们健康，我们为他们做饭，我们为他们服务，在我们能力范围内，我们努力给他们合理的健康来源。我们唱诵，我们做饭，我们服务，我们不是天生的厨师。我们相信你吃什么就是什么，我们相信吃健康，我们希望每个人都健康，每个人都不会做饭，每个人不可能一天学会做饭，所以我们开了一家餐厅。我们叫它金庙觉知烹饪。
We didn't select this name without sensitivity, we know that it represents our consciousness and we are consciously conscious that we are conscious people and extremely sensitive people. That's why I said Conscious Cookery. We didn't say in-out, igley-wigley, buttak-buttak, we could have given any name. Black Spider!
我们选这个名字不是随随便便的，我们知道它代表我们的意识，而且我们清楚地意识到我们是有意识的人，是极其敏感的人。所以我说「有意识的烹饪」。我们没说进进出出、叽里咕噜、啪啪啪，我们本可以随便起个名字。黑蜘蛛！

YB: We could have named anything. All we said is Golden Temple. The nectar place of God, Conscious Cookery, we have a Golden Temple consciousness and that is what we cook with. And it is not a small thing.
YB：我们本可以起任何名字。我们只说了金庙。神的甘露之地，有意识的烹饪，我们拥有金庙的意识，我们就是用它来烹饪的。这可不是小事。
Sensitivity is element of my life, sensitivity is my Infinity, sensitivity is not my ritual, sensitivity is my reality. And any reality without identity does not exist. It has never existed. I can teach you the law of the nature but I cannot change the law of nature. We suffer when we change the law of nature. Some people go against their nature, elementary law of nature is the law of sensitivity and sensitivity to identity.

You have personality, you can do. Don't give up, keep up. Don't give up, keep up. Kartha purkh. Nirbhav, nirvair. Fearless.
所以 Guru Nanak 说，你是那位造物主的创造，你的身份就是真理。接着他说 Kartha Purkh。你是一个能做事的人。Kartha，kartha purkh。Purkh 是人。你有人格，你能做事。不要放弃，要坚持。不要放弃，要坚持。Kartha purkh。Nirbhav，nirvair。无所畏惧。

Some people discuss with me, they don't discuss they have to discuss; they are afraid they may get caught, they maybe doing wrong. No, I love everybody, why to discuss things with me? I don't discuss things with anybody, I don't talk to discuss things. Whatever I know I'll say it straight, take it straight, like it or not, it is your problem. It's not mine. I don't have any problem. My problem is I live among the problems. And I have accepted it. Nirbhav, Nirvair. Be fearless, be revengeless. You cannot be revengeless if you are not fearless. Otherwise you will be afraid, you will hold something, you hold something, you sneak out this way, that way, that is the revenge.
有些人跟我讨论，他们不是讨论，他们是不得不讨论；他们害怕自己可能被抓住，可能做错了事。不，我爱每一个人，为什么要跟我讨论事情？我不跟任何人讨论事情，我不为了讨论事情而说话。我知道什么就直说，你直接接受，喜欢也好不喜欢也好，那是你的问题。不是我的。我没有任何问题。我的问题是我生活在问题之中。而我已经接受了这一点。Nirbhav，Nirvair。无所畏惧，无有报复。如果你不无所畏惧，你就不可能无有报复。否则你会害怕，你会抓住什么，你抓住什么，你就这样溜出去、那样溜出去，那就是报复。
The most great, meanest vengeance is when you do not talk to another person straight. In America we call it hanky-panky, wishy-washy.
最大、最卑劣的报复，就是你不直截了当地跟另一个人说话。在美国我们管这叫鬼鬼祟祟、含糊其辞。
Somebody came in Washington to get name, "Sir, give me spiritual name. "
有个人跑到华盛顿来要名字，「先生，给我一个灵性名字。」
I said, "You don't have a spirit, why you should have a spiritual name? "
我说：「你连灵魂都没有，要什么灵性名字？」
"Sir, at least you are very generous man, give me. "

Kiran, what is kiran? One ray. One ray, that's the one ray of hope. Sometime when we give a spiritual name we just put a word kiran. (?) that's the last thread, you can break it, you can make it. It's up to you. There is a one candle, you can burn with that candle hundred candles or you can blow that up and then what else can happen? Nothing.
Kiran，kiran 是什么？一道光。一道光，那就是一线希望之光。有时候我们给一个灵性名字，只是放一个词 kiran。（？）那是最后一根线，你可以扯断它，也可以把它接起来。全看你自己。有一支蜡烛，你可以用它点燃一百支蜡烛，也可以把它吹灭，然后还能怎样？什么都不会发生。

The beauty is how much you can fight, to what extent you can fight. Beauty is not whether you can win or lose. Man of God never loses, because man of God has infinite courage, infinite truth, infinite fighting power because he believes unto Infinity, what he believes is the flow of spirit, it is the prana.

I didn't knew wrong then, I don't know wrong now. Because there is nothing wrong in this world.
这从来没有困扰过我，我相信我可以教人们那套技术，让他们拥有神的意识，而神的意识会在人身上成长，他们就一定会有身份。当真实来到他们里面，他们就会有身份；一旦他们有了敏感度，他们就会有身份；一旦他们有了真实，他们就会有身份；一旦他们知道灵的流动，他们就会有身份；一旦有了satya，就会有satyam，它会来到这个Sat。那时我不知道什么是错的，现在我也不知道什么是错的。因为这个世界里没有任何东西是错的。
there will be satyam and it will come to this Sat. I didn't knew wrong then, I don't know wrong now. Because there is nothing wrong in this world. World is a collaboration of truth in infinite now and forever.

It was truth, it is truth and it shall be truth, says Nanak,

And now vegetables she can't afford to eat, she hates them, it's not a meat. So it is automatic fasting. Automatic. Now when automatic fasting takes place naturally all that energy which was used to digest that undigestable food, that dead flesh, started restoring back the life, extra fat went away, little bit vegetables she eats, they turn into protein. And when body makes protein, it's the purest form. It doesn't matter what you eat, it does matter what you digest. And how far you digest? You eat to digest.

But you don't eat to mess your digestive system and majority of people eat to mess their digestive system. That is why everywhere we can afford we opened a Conscious Cookery Golden Temple. It's a worship, it's a Sadhana, we do it in the name of God, we don't do it in a personal name. It doesn't belong to anybody. It is a Sadhana. It's a service of the divine, because we want people to be healthy, happy and holy. That is the area of consciousness. That's the area of sensitivity and when you are sensitive you are sensible because you know lot. If you know how to know lot, then you know what is your lot, what is your identity.
