YB: Exhale. Tonight we are going to discuss consciousness when you are alive or when you are dead. Basically, Sikh is the person who never dies and also it is true this person is never alive, this is known as polarity of consciousness. What I am going to talk to you to night I will talk very slow, I like to go very fast because this is a very typical subject which can flow very fast. Doctor walk in all the way. (?), that’s it.

Now you have to understand the situation and without understanding this basic situation you may practice the spirituality and go on different spiritual path, study with all the teachers, stand on your head or on your heel it does not make any difference. You may have twenty (?) and thirty-six (?) and whatever you want to do, this law of polarity of consciousness has to be understood basically for one’s own self, before one can proceed on anything. None of you is alive and none of you is dead, now this has to be proved tonight before you can proceed on anything, otherwise if you will not be made to understand it, know it, feel it, experience it, further study doesn’t mean a thing.

You are not alive to what? You are not alive to your consciousness at any time you are not alive to your consciousness because you have not been physically pure into state of consciousness that moment the sequence causes the consequences you must get an experience so you are subject to time, time is changing, so things are changing and you are changing whereas you are a basic value. So there is a difference right there and then, you are dead because you are not alive to your consciousness, but when you feel the sequence and relate to the consequences and then when you surmount the consequences you will become alive to the dead end of the consequences.
你对什么不是活着的？你在任何时候对你的意识都不是活着的，因为你没有在身体上纯净地进入意识的状态，那一刻，序列导致后果，你必须得到一个体验，所以你受制于时间，时间在变化，所以事物在变化，你也在变化，而你是作为一个基本价值存在的。所以就在那里、就在那时，有一个差别，你是死的，因为你对你的意识不是活着的，但当你感受到序列并与后果相连，然后当你超越后果时，你就会对后果的死胡同变得活着。

Now how you can change it? This is what it is, it is with everybody, nobody can be exception to this law until one knows how to levitate himself and this levitation is not physical that you sit in cross leg six feet above the ground and you are levitating yourself, no it’s a joke. Nothing matters in your life. Your meditation is when you look at anything and you are not in it, you hate but you are not in the hatred, you love but you are not in the love, you seek you are not in the seek, you are silent you are not in the silent, because you in action is not you in direction, you are true. When you come into the action, you don’t direct yourself, when you direct you don’t act.

You know this little dog I have got this vava, he say, wa, wa, wa, wa, that’s very good of him, that is normally with every man, I like the dog, he loves, then he even barks, when he doesn’t loves then he barks, when he wants to communicate he barks, that’s all he does. Period. And sometime I see most of us we do the same thing. We never plan we are human beings, our word can cut through the destiny, how can we do that? Now purpose of life is to be happy and there is no purpose without this. I don’t agree with you and I shall never agree with you, even you convince me and beat me up to that I will never agree, purpose of life is to find God, forget it, that is the biggest lie I have heard and that is the biggest lie people speak. No purpose is to find God, why the hell you have to find God, God has already found you, you are here because of Him. I mean to say what a surprising the situation somebody wants to find God, for what? What you are going to do with Him? He is not a coconut that you are going to eat Him.
生命的目的就是快乐，没有这个就没有目的。我不同意你，我永远不会同意你，就算你说服我、把我打到同意，我也永远不会同意，生命的目的就是找到神，算了吧，那是我听过的最大的谎言，也是人们说的最大的谎言。没有什么目的是找到神，你干嘛非得找到神，神早就找到你了，你在这里就是因为他。我是说，有人想找到神，这情况多奇怪啊，为了什么？你打算拿他怎么办？他又不是个椰子，你还能把他吃了。

YB: God has got nothing to it because actually you itches God so much He got rid of you and sent to the earth, as parents send the children to nursery, to kindergarten, to school, get rid of him for six hours, eight hours, and they feel well the guy will go to get some wisdom, there is a satisfaction, right. So God want to send you for sixty, eighty years to the earth to get rid of you, you were itching Him too much.
YB：神跟这事没关系，因为其实你把神烦得够呛，祂才把你打发走、送到地球上，就像父母把孩子送去托儿所、幼儿园、学校，把他甩开六个小时、八个小时，他们心里还挺舒服——这小子会去学点智慧，有一种满足感，对吧。所以神想把你送到地球上六十年、八十年，好把你甩开，你实在太烦祂了。
wisdom, there is a satisfaction, right. So God want to send you for sixty, eighty years to the earth to get rid of you, you were itching Him too much.

YB: Now why you want to find Him? You just take that example when the mother sees the child coming home and she sees he has done good at work and when report comes from the principal the child was fantastic at the school and we have promoted him to the next class, you know what that means? Parents are very happy, they feel all the money has been paid is not wasted, right or wrong? All that driving in and out is done good and they love the child, then give him a present, that is all about God.
YB：那你为什么还想找到祂？就拿这个例子来说，母亲看见孩子回家，看见他事情做得好，校长那边来的报告说这孩子在学校棒极了，我们把他升到下一个班了，你知道那意味着什么吗？父母非常高兴，他们觉得花的钱都没白花，对不对？来回接送都值了，他们爱这个孩子，然后给他一份礼物，神的事就是这样。
paid is not wasted, right or wrong? All that driving in and out is done good and they love the child, then give him a present, that is all about God.

When you will quit this planet He will see what you have done here in the class and that will make Him happy and unhappy, there is no other problem, He doesn’t wants you at all now, now why we meditate then? Why we chant? You know why? We want to relate to the infinite cosmic energy in us so that we can face the sequence and the consequences so that in case a death comes on us we may survive and be alive again because happiness is liveliness, radiant. Happiness is liveliness, liveliness is the spirit of the being and that is the consciousness of the being.
等你离开这个星球，祂会看你在这个班上做了什么，那会让祂高兴或不高兴，没有别的问题，祂现在根本不要你，那我们为什么还冥想？为什么还唱诵？你知道为什么吗？我们想跟我们内在那无限宇宙能量连接，这样我们才能面对那序列和后果，这样万一死亡落到我们身上，我们还能活下来、再次活过来，因为快乐就是活力，光芒四射。快乐就是活力，活力是存在的精神，那就是存在的意识。
Other tricks won’t work my dear sir, they will put you in a mud when a man is caught in a mud, you can’t swim out of mud, there is no way. When you are in a mud all you have to do is free your legs and hand and roll out, if you can make it fine, otherwise there is no chance, more you like to come out of the mud, more mud will take you down.

Our problem on this earth is a very simple honest problem. You know, you go to movie, what happens to you? You get involved in that movie, you totally forget who you are, what you are, why you are, and all that. When you come out you know what you say, oh damn I won’t see it again, I lost three dollars and damn who made it, this and that, whole thing, but when you were there you were there, you were nowhere else. That is what this planet earth is as experienced it, you are here you forget from where you come, who you are, and where you have to go. This maya is so beautiful. Problem is maya is beautiful you should be equally beautiful.
我们在这个地球上的问题，是一个非常简单的、诚实的问题。你知道，你去看电影，你会怎么样？你卷进那部电影里，你完全忘了你是谁、你是什么、你为什么在这里，所有那些。等你出来的时候，你知道你会说什么，哦该死，我再也不看了，我丢了三块钱，该死，是谁拍的，这个那个，一整套，可你在里面的时候你就在里面，你哪儿都不在。这个地球被体验起来就是这样，你在这里，你忘了你从哪里来、你是谁、你要去哪里。这个幻象（Maya）太美了。问题在于幻象很美，你应该同样美。
If you know you are equally beautiful, then maya won’t hurt you and if we have to quit, we say wa, I am quitting okay fine, you know I was beautiful, this world was beautiful, thank you, but now you will start yelling, screaming, crying, you don’t want to go. It is surprising to me you don’t want to come on this earth, you don’t want to go from this earth…
如果你知道你自己同样美，那么幻象就伤不到你；如果我们要离开，我们就说哇，我要走了，好吧，你知道，我曾经很美，这个世界很美，谢谢你，可是现在你会开始吼、尖叫、哭，你不想走。让我觉得奇怪的是，你不想来到这个地球上，你也不想离开这个地球……

YB: And this is a strange state of affairs. I mean that is highly a simple situation, which you can walk. When you come on this earth you cry, you don’t want to relate to it, you are upset about it. When you go again you cry. It is a very honest statement, everybody wants to know the truth, but nobody wants to face it so if you want to keep lot of friends, never speak the truth. Normally truth is a very powerful weapon.
YB：这真是一种奇怪的局面。我是说，这其实是一个极其简单的情况，你完全可以走过去。你来到这个地球上的时候你哭，你不想跟它打交道，你为它心烦。你再走的时候你又哭。这是一句非常诚实的话，每个人都想知道真相，但没有人愿意面对它，所以如果你想留住很多朋友，就永远别说真话。通常真相是一件非常强大的武器。
Somebody said once, “What is that thing which people love most, but people cannot have it?”

The sage answered truth.
那位智者回答：真相。
Why? Because truth is nothing, but a universal mirror through which you can see yourself right away and truth is such a universal vibration, it will go right into your heart. You may like it you may not like it, that is your problem, you may admit or you may not admit, but when somebody will speak the truth, you will acknowledge it inside right away yes it is. Then you will ask oh my friend Ms. Intelligent where is my intellectual self, how can I argue and how can bail myself out of it.
为什么？因为真相不是别的，它就是一面宇宙的镜子，透过它你立刻就能看见自己；真相是那样一种宇宙的振动，它会直接进入你的心。你可能喜欢它，也可能不喜欢它，那是你的问题；你可能承认，也可能不承认，但当有人说出真相时，你内在立刻就会认可，是的，就是这样。然后你会问，哦，我的朋友，智慧女士，我的智性跑哪儿去了，我怎么能争辩，怎么能把自己从这里面救出来。
right away yes it is. Then you will ask oh my friend Ms. Intelligent where is my intellectual self, how can I argue and how can bail myself out of it.

That is where your ego comes to your help. When a person develops a habit to bail himself from the truth he brings unhappiness to his life because truth is radiance and once you know how to slip out of the radiance what will be dullness. Your life will be a practical nothing but a dull life. Now there the consciousness cannot relate to you and you cannot relate to it, now you have to do something, what is that? Then you must drink booze, no, no, I appreciate it, now don’t misunderstand me. If a person cannot drink the nectar in himself he has every right to go spend seven dollars and buy black velvet or Whitehorse or anything, why should I inject to it?
这时候你的小我就会来帮你。当一个人养成从真相中脱身的习惯，他就给自己的生命带来不幸，因为真相是光芒，一旦你学会怎么从光芒里溜出去，剩下的只会是暗淡。你的生活会变得实际上一无所有，只剩暗淡。这时意识无法与你连接，你也无法与它连接，那你就得做点什么，做什么呢？那你就得去喝酒，不，不，我不是这个意思，别误解我。如果一个人喝不到自己内在的甘露，他完全有权花七块钱去买黑天鹅绒或者白马威士忌什么的，我凭什么去干涉？
I mean to say if you cannot find your spirit, find flesh somewhere. I mean to say it is ridiculous to tell you, don’t drink, don’t eat this, don’t do that, and you have no substitute for it, it is terrible, this is not honest, it is absolutely not honest.
我的意思是，如果你找不到自己的灵，那就去别处找肉。我的意思是，告诉你别喝酒、别吃这个、别做那个，却又拿不出替代品，这很荒唐，太糟糕了，这不诚实，绝对不诚实。

You must find the nectar inside and it must belong to you so that you may not to have spend six dollars you should get it in three dollars, you should get it ever. It is within you. Otherwise a person has no right to tell you don’t do this. Why not? It is against the natural principle of a human being that he should be jammed not to do anything.
你必须找到内在的甘露，而且它必须属于你，这样你就不必花六块钱，你花三块钱就能得到，你随时都能得到。它就在你之内。否则，一个人没有权利用来告诉你别做这个。为什么不行？把人堵住什么都不让做，这违背人的自然法则。
I have seen most few teachers telling, “Meditate.”

“Oh sir I am suffering with toothache.”

As that fellow has mastered meditation so much that when he can create the whole psyche around him he may not know how to write and spell meditation, that’s terrible.
结果那家伙把冥想练得那么精通，等到他能在自己周围造出整个心识时，他可能连冥想这个词怎么写怎么拼都不知道，这太糟糕了。

YB: I am not kidding with you, that is the name of it, Maha murakh mahan mudra, that is the name of it, Maha Murakh Mahan Mudra. It means to say one who is the greatest fool, the great seal for those that is the name of them. Now this meditation is going to work whether you are a wise man or you are a fool, it doesn’t mean a thing, it has its own beauty, but there are certain particular requirements, which is my obligation to do it. You will not enjoy the greatest gimmick out of it, which can happen, but the part of it will be beautiful part. Below the lotus of the hand we always used to do that exercise.

Just set yourself in couple minutes and we will do it tonight and once you get the experience little bit then we can develop ourselves much better and much further because this semester whatever I am going to teach is going to be little practical, I have loved you long, long time and convinced you very well, now I think time has come that we should work it out. So friends, it has become a tragedy four years I have taught Kundalini yoga still people have not proceeded from second Chakra onward at all. I mean this is a practical joke. That is heavy isn’t it? Well tonight we will take care of it.

Close it and let your eyes look at the tip of your nose and in the head circulate the mantra Sa-Ta-Na-Ma mentally. Eyes get fixed on the tip of the nose, hands get in front like a lotus, front teeth get together and all of you get into that meditation. (?) wherever you are sit down and do it, this night will never come back again. Anybody who is within the four walls of their room will be circulated on the same energy, so don’t worry about it, this is a chance to do it. Don’t let spine go crooked, don’t let eyes move out of the tip of the nose, don’t let teeth get out of the jaw we call it and at the point which is eyebrow and the root of the nose let Sa-Ta-Na-Ma blare out.

You are required to learn something on this earth, therefore you must create some energy, that energy which will be useful to you, while going from this earth and little bit of it which you leave behind will be enough for times to follow. Man can make God to change, God cannot make a man to change, this is a cosmic law. But provided man is a man. Key can open the lock, lock cannot command the key. I must meditate on infinity that is why we meditate on Adi Shakti. Either you meditate on infinity you will become infinity. If you will not become infinity at least you will retain your finite. When you meditate on a deity either you become a deity or the polarity of the deity, but of God you are the polarity, God is infinite, you are finite.
