Now I want to build this to you tonight and on this I will just go around.

Now from yoga and joga they are absolutely two words with different dimensions. Exactly same thing they did to meditation. Meditation comes on the seventh level of joga. Let us for convenience say yoga. Yam-Niyam, do's don'ts postures, breathing exercise known as pranayam, and then concentration, contraction, concentration, meditation and total awareness. That's how, these are the (?). Now according to the western world meditation is when I sit like this, close my eyes couple minutes, I am meditating. Now it is a (?). This is not meditation. Absolutely pure, trying to meditate. It has got nothing to do with meditation. Actually meditation is a...

Now listen scientifically what meditation is so that you may know what you are going to do. It is a human beaming of the mind in totality through its balanced polarity in relation to universal cosmic consciousness and self-existence. That is what meditation is. When the mental self, mental being of the being is so virtuous, is so rich that it can create harmony with the total environments around it and it can buffer all the vibratory effect which are focused on this unit, man is said to be in meditation. How many of you know about it? Closing the eyes, chanting mantra om, om, om, om, om... this (?) take car, go home...

You have done your meditation. It is one of the biggest joke. That's what they teach, that's what you learn. It will never work, it will always create a problem, it's a human problem. A teacher comes in America and he wants to suit the American. Now when a teacher starts suiting the students and catering to the convenience of the students what he is going to teach. Teacher is like a carpenter who takes the tools, chisel out the wood and make something beautiful out of it. If wood is hard, it clicks away right in the (?) he takes another log, does it. Forget about it. Now we are great American because I am now American, so I have to say that way.

We are great Americans, our ego is like an elephant. And we will like to do anything which suits us. And we buy yogis and swamis everyday and we don't care. And they are such freaks too, they won't teach us any (?) Mostly they say everything is God, everything will be all right, you are very beautiful, you are very sweet, everything will be perfect, God is omnipresent, it is all His will. And you know you take flowers to him and he says you look very pretty, (?)

and meditate on the mantra, he gives you one mantra Brahma, neither you know what is tail of it nor head about it or you have read about it, it is about Creator something, you are just bugged in your own ministers in the church, so she says this yogi is going to do lot of (?) he will say come home, close your eyes, (?) you have a time, you know twenty minutes and say (?) and that's it. Your meditation is through, you are through. The same routine of life, the bourbon, the steak, everything goes on and you go on and your meditation goes on. This way life cannot work.

Meditation is a science of mind, it's a tool, it's a procedure through which this limited man can expand to the infinity. Meditation is a process through which the finite mind can perceive and realize infinity. That is what meditation is. It is a scientific truth so practiced that it gives realization to this limited being. Human existence is a very... it is a (?) existence. Soul body, mental body, and physical body. They three are in-between. Sometime soul is there, body is there, mind is off, man is useless. Mind is there, powerful, soul is there, body is useless, man is shaky. Soul doesn't exist, you do not exist.

My idea to start to you like this is I share with you all what you want to share with me. I am a very well traveled so called American. I have gone into ghettos, I have gone on the Capitol Hill, I have gone whatever you want to name a town and I am there. I have met people from all age group. I know one thing in this great country-people long to know. They read books, they go through (?) our weird teachers you know (?) wear (?) clothes and look beautiful, they think perhaps they will get something and they sometime have great level, great love, great affection. What brings that affection? The power to know. The longing to belong.

get something and they sometime have great level, great love, great affection. What brings that affection? The power to know. The longing to belong.

They understand there is something very beautiful, which can come to us but they do not know how they can achieve it, so they go from A to Z shopping around. So in that shopping everybody has the shock. When we realized that situation we started teaching through the university as a course. That's the best way to shop. Then it becomes and (?) and you can't mess around, there are certain standards you have to go through and you have to come through a certain standard, and then it is very impersonal. It's a knowledge, given to you through a institution. You like it, you have it, you don't like it, you don't have the right and this way lot of people realize what meditation is.

But not whole lot. Whole lot thinks if a mantra given secretly in your ears and that is your mantra. Perhaps hundred people that day get the same words, but because you got it at your time so (?) and you repeat it and you close your eyes for twenty minutes, thirty minutes, half an hour it works. It is the start my friend. It is not the end of it. It is just telling somebody that you are you. Closing the eyes, sitting for couple of minutes calmly, and relaxing your own body, it's a great achievement for a normal average American. And when you meditate here, the central nerve, the sushmana, ida and pingala, right and left nostril and the central nerve is here, right?

The link between the pituitary and pineal, the cycle per sixty cycle the pituitary goes to one cycle of the period. This duration. They call it lifecycle, in the mystic science of the yoga. And when you concentrate here on this area the central nerve vibrates between the two its own central vibration which we call it thirty cycles per minute. It is one over two of the sixty cycles of the pituitary. Your metabolism must change, your nervous system must relax, your all muscles which have never relaxed shall relax and it is simply known as Shambhavi Mudra. It is dedicated to lord Shiva. And it must bring fruits, whether you chant a word with it or not, doesn't mean a thing.

Don't misunderstand me that I am putting down something or putting up something, I am telling you the basic law which meditation means, how it works and why it works, what is the science behind it. Pituitary gland controls all the glands except pineal. But it can stimulate the pineal gland if the rhythm is right. That's all is the basic thing to do. And normally as a human being maximum you use four percent of your brain, that's all. Rest is a barren land to you. And if you can use over eight percent there is nothing you want to use more. And this is what today the science is working on it.

I go to Washington D. C. we have institution mankind research institute, I go with them, give them a little talk, give them a little hint, little meditation, fly back. Keep them hanging for sometime, they get all their instruments, bah-bah-bah, whole thing and I make a fun of them. Then I come back again and give them little bit more because I want them to really learn it by their own experience what it does to a man. It is the need of the man today. I understand it. But I understand basically one way it should not become a gimmick.

Every man should meditate. Every man has the right to meditate and every man should learn what meditation can bring to him but he must be within his own (?) and own personality. That meditation is also known as direct meditation between you and your God, there should be a direct link which is very difficult today even to talk about. A teacher, a Guru, whatever you call that nut is just a help. He is just a humble channel who hassle out of the mercy of God consciousness to know something. And if you share the God consciousness with people he is blessed, if he doesn't he is the most crooked being ever born on this planet. That's all it takes. In straightforward language.

And it is the duty of every man of God consciousness to share that technique with which humanity can share the beauty, the joy, the happiness, and the contentment. It's not a favor to anybody.

If John would have written in bible and would have added one line, there would not have been any need for any yogi to come from the east to teach you. He would have said, "In the beginning there was a word, word was with God and word was God," and those are those five primal sounds. And he might not have written those sounds, matter would have been much, much easier. But he stopped there and that started the problem. Which word? I came up, I said my this word, you came up this word, that came up that word, there becomes more words than you can think and imagine.

But if you understand the science of sound and light and you understand the science of rhythm or in modern world as I talk it, if you know the technology of rhythm or vibratory cause and effect of the being on his glandular system in proportion to his nervous system. Or in other words let us, I am defining for you yet I have not started talking, don't misunderstand me. Or you know how to compute your brain cells in a proportion to receive and perceive and experience the vibration and to consolidate them into an experience. That's the work of the brain. If any such technology you know or you can experience, that is the science of meditation. So you have understood the preface?

Now I tell you the second part of it, what it can do for you? Meditation is such a tool which can give you the grip on your own mind. Your very scattered mind can be focused like a beam by you and it can cut down everything and anything you like to cut. So much power you can have if you want to work as a devil you can cut down the astral body inflow inlet of human life prana to a physical body of anyone just like this and the guy will go. That much is the power of the meditation. And you have the power also that you can restart the (?) of the astral body and can raise the dead. That is also the power of meditation. So it is the strongest tool man can ever seek or can have or can enjoy.

现在我告诉你第二部分，它能为你做什么？冥想是这样一种工具，它能让你抓住自己的心智。你那极其散乱的心智，可以被你像一道光束一样聚焦起来，它能砍断一切，任何你想砍断的东西。你能拥有这么大的力量——如果你想当魔鬼，你就能像这样砍断任何人肉体生命的星光体（astral body）普拉纳（prana）的流入通道，那家伙就完了。冥想的力量就有这么大。你也有力量让星光体的（？）重新启动，让死人复活。那也是冥想的力量。所以它是人所能寻求、所能拥有、所能享受的最强大的工具。

The conscious mind experiences life. Supreme conscious mind is a link of the conscious mind but that link is between the subconscious mind. In subconscious mind there can be many blocks, fear complex, phobia, handicap, bad nourishing, environmental effect, bad experience, wrong knowledge, name anything. They become the blocks of your personality and they work you out. During the day you live as daydreamers, at night you live as night dreamers. Hardly you live as you should live. The same story, you know, I'll have egg, I'll have hen, she will hatch, I'll have poultry farm, I'll have many eggs, I'll fill the truck, I'll sell it, (?) car, I'll have wife, and then one day I (?)

意识心智体验生活。至高的意识心智是意识心智的一个连接，但那个连接在潜意识心智之间。潜意识心智里可能有很多阻塞、恐惧情结、恐惧症、障碍、不良滋养、环境影响、糟糕的经历、错误的知识，随便叫什么。它们成为你人格的阻塞，它们把你摆布。白天你活得像白日梦者，晚上你活得像夜梦者。你很少按你该活的方式活。同样的故事，你知道，我会有蛋，我会有母鸡，她会孵蛋，我会有养鸡场，我会有很多蛋，我会装满卡车，我会卖掉它，（？）车，我会有妻子，然后有一天我（？）

all eggs and the guy was out driving the car stuck with a (?) Because you were dreaming something which was not reality but at that time when he was driving a car at the freeway he was thinking of going and buy eggs because his guests were waiting at home. But between going there to buy the eggs and bringing back and make an omelet for the guy who is his friend at home he built the whole poultry farm and (?) and whole thing and only knew at that time when the car was head-collision with an electric pole. That much daydreaming can happen. And at night you all know what you go through. I need not repeat it.

So most of the energy of the nerves is wasted in a daydream and in a night dream. So none lives in reality, everybody lives in imagination, and when imagination does not correlate with reality it brings you frustration, frustration brings you nervous (?) and little bit of insanity. And we have termed it, pressured life we call it. That is the pressure.

所以神经的大部分能量都浪费在白日梦里、夜梦里。所以没有人活在现实里，每个人都活在想象里，而当想象和现实对不上，它就带给你挫败，挫败带给你神经（？）和一点点疯狂。我们给它起了个名字，叫有压力的生活。那就是压力。

frustration, frustration brings you nervous (?) and little bit of insanity. And we have termed it, pressured life we call it. That is the pressure.

And if with meditation we can bring ourselves down to the reality of the self and experience the self then what we can earn out of it are our self realization, our self reality, and once you experience the self-reality, then you know that you are a creature, then you know you are a creation, and then you know you have been created by a created Creator which is unknown to you, the known. When the known knows that there is a unknown, unknown to him he becomes humble, loving and beautiful. And that is the reality of the man.

And the reverse of it I am great, I can do this, I can make it happen, blah-blah-blah, this water bubble with a little air running in it or this little puppet strung on the string of the breath, before he ends up in a Forest Lawn he makes lot of noise. And there is no reality in that noise at all. I have got bank account, I have got attorney, I have got this, there is a very beautiful couplet which always I repeat.

Where is a chance in man's life that he can extend his limited self to an unlimited horizon? All he has to do is he has to levitate his consciousness. You know, what you think a yogi should do? He should sit in his lotus pose and he should raise his body, these two hundred pounds from the ground. Levitate. You think that is levitation. Now what should I tell you? It's a monkey joke.

It is the consciousness and some people believe in transmigration and incarnations, some don't. It is according to one religious faith as one has been taught. But ill luck would have it we all transmigrate and incarnate every moment. When we act as God divine in very universal consciousness, we are incarnation of God. When we are dirty, selfish animal we transmigrate into a lowest being. Animals are better than us in many ways. Animals you will never hear killing anybody in the name of God, only this man as an animal kills each other or other kingdom of God in the name of God. And boy o boy God is so mad at you, you can't believe it. I talked to Him once.

I was giving that very example. In your own home you don't allow anybody to even pick up a leaf of your tree. Why you take a gun on that person? And look at His kingdom, His home, this earth planet, you mess it up the way you like and you feel you are great. Whom you are going to answer? He sent you here to enjoy about fifty-sixty years to have fun, to live nicely, do what you have to do. If you go into a hotel to check in, put all the pillows out of the windows, all that little fixtures that are hanging break it down, and all the electric bulbs down, all off, you mean to say the hotel manager is going to let you stay there for other couple days?

我刚才就是在举那个例子。在你自己的家里，你连别人捡你树上的一片叶子都不允许。你为什么拿枪对着那个人？再看看祂的国度，祂的家，这个地球，你随心所欲地把它搞得一团糟，还觉得自己很了不起。你要向谁交代？祂把你送到这里，是让你享受五六十年，玩得开心，好好生活，做你该做的事。如果你去一家酒店登记入住，把所有枕头扔出窗外，把所有挂着的小装置都打烂，把所有电灯泡都打下来，全部关掉，你的意思是说酒店经理还会让你在那儿再住几天吗？

If that cannot happen where you pay twenty-five dollars a night stay, what about this means to you on this earth what mess you are creating here? Are we conscious of it? No. It's a routine with us. That much unconscious we have become. That creating a huge mess on this earth is a routine with us, it's a fashion.

You know you are answerable to your actions. Newton's third law is a simple law, action has a reaction equal and opposite. But do we consciously realize it? No. Every mirror can show you your face, but man if you coat the mirror completely you stand before it, it is opaque for you. That is why you can't see the soul.

Even those people, my apologies those who have glasses they just use this place to hang the glasses on, but they do not know this big thing is the source of the life prana, the life force. And what is my dear friend God is? God is a word in three letters G O D, generating principle, organizing principle, destroying principle, in total totality. That's all it is.

If you want to know more personally, it is the unknown potential of you. Very simple and honest definition which you can understand is it is the very unknown potential of you and it is the cycle of the human being to discover his total potential. And the dormant in you is that energy. When we uncoil it, it helps us to realize our total potential. In ancient times we used to call it Kundalini. It comes from the word kundal, kundal means the lock of the hair of the beloved. There is a huge poetry written on the beauty of the lock of the hair of the beloved. Even in the Samson and Delilah story the secret of the lock of the hair you all know. I am not going to tell you.

如果你想更切身地了解它，它是你未知的潜能。一个非常简单、诚实的定义，你能听懂的就是：它是你未知的潜能，而人的循环就是去发现自己全部的潜能。你内在沉睡的就是那股能量。当我们把它解开，它就帮我们实现自己全部的潜能。古时候我们叫它昆达里尼（Kundalini）。它来自 kundal 这个词，kundal 的意思是爱人发辫的结。关于爱人发辫之美，有大量的诗篇。就连参孙和黛利拉的故事里，发辫的秘密你们也都知道。我就不讲了。

Now everybody is afraid of it that when the Kundalini rises it is dangerous. Naturally when a fool becomes wise, for foolish people it is dangerous. They don't like that because they lose a buck. You know if I am foolish everybody can twist me around, if I become wise I am not going to get twisted. Who likes it? So when the Kundalini rises, instead of going to a pub you start going to a church. All your pub friends will not like you. Nothing is lost in this world. Every loss is a gain, every gain is a loss in one way or the other. There is nothing good and nothing bad in this world. There is no sin and no merit on this earth. I tell you what is a sin.

But if we can pull our consciousness and levitate it to the height of that when nothing is nothing and everything is nothing and everything is everything and nothing is everything. That consciousness is a state of bliss in which these teeny-tiny creatures can learn and then we can say wow, what a great (?) That greatness can be seen, now the problem is, you may do any meditation with any teacher, it is not going to do any good to you. You know why? If in any meditation you will not experience the sweetness of the steadiness of the mind, it is not going to work out.

这个世界上没有好，也没有坏，是念头让它变成这样。但如果我们能把意识拉起来，提升到那个高度——那时无即无，一切即无，一切即一切，无即一切。那种意识是一种极乐的状态，在这些微小的生灵可以在其中学习，然后我们就能说，哇，多么伟大（？）那种伟大可以被看见。现在问题在于，你可能跟任何老师做任何冥想，它对你都不会有任何好处。你知道为什么吗？如果在任何冥想中，你都体验不到心智稳定下来的那份甜美，它就不会起作用。

For couple of days it will do good to you, after couple of days mind again starts running around. So there came a man of God, he was good man, God bless him. He said,

He disclosed two secrets. He said physical, mental and spiritual bodies have to be blended at the same time in the same proportion and there are twelve sounds, seven primary, five primal, seven primary sounds are for outward music, five primal sounds are for inward music. He connected all those five primal sounds, Sa Ta Na Ma, A is common, it makes five. He said do the kirtan, kirtan means the musical instrument, some were foolish, they never understood it, they took the harmonium started playing with it. They said we are doing the kirtan. Now kirtan on the sound cannot be done that way. This is how, let us practice that, can we do that? A meditation?

If you want to practice it, if you don't want to practice it don't bother yourself, just enjoy. If you want it then sit with a straight spine, that's the only one requirement. And you are not going to be my disciple, first of all you must understand, I don't care. Neither you should care, just practice it for experience we will it do exactly one, one, three, four, four and half minutes. And total time will do it nine minutes, I'll watch the time for you. Many of you who are practicing it they will have fun out of it, those who have not practiced it, they will just experience it, and those who are sitting here will get (?) and watch.

… the pressure should be between five to ten pounds per touch. How it works? It works in this way. This finger represents Jupiter, the star of knowledge and destiny. This represents Saturn, the patience and the tolerance. This represents sun, the life and the energy. This is mercury, the communication. Five parts of the brain are related to these tips. I cannot open your brain in the skull and correct it but I can stimulate those area from here by the power of the nerve tips and rearrange or compute or regroup the brain cells in a way that they can work towards the Infinity. That’s why, we work this way.

In America there is another tragedy which is happening, people just meditate, (?) twenty minutes, then they get up, take the car and they are on their freeway. Better don’t meditate. It’s a kind of joke. It’s the same joke which I end up facing all these hatha yogi who do the postures, this posture, that twist, that up, head down, legs up, this, blah, blah, blah and there is a one posture known as Shavasan in which you lie flat rest. For every posture you take one third of it should be Shavasan. Now this is the law of hatha yoga. Nobody does it. Instead of having a advantage, they end up with a disadvantage.

YB: Ojas, when the serum, when the serum goes through the spine and it holds the cup filled with it in which the brain functions, there are two ducts here through which it reverts back towards the bloodstream again. That state when it goes from those two sinuses here, into the bloodstream again is known as Ojas or we call it a gold of the being. The formula for that is, when such a state of consciousness in physical form exist with a man, he can attract a woman from miles. He smells in such a way to which a woman longs to belong and that man can give a God consciousness. It is Prakriti and Purusha, in that relationship.
