Also known as Shabad Guru (alternate spelling shabd), mantra and Naad Yoga, Yogi Bhajan refers to sound current as the sound that both causes the universe but also keeps the universe turning. Sound Current is also the sound of truth, generally in reference to Gurbani (the Guru's words) but more generally in the sound of truth contained in bij sounds and other paths that honor the truth in all things.

音流也称为 Shabad Guru（另一拼法 shabd）、曼陀罗与 Naad 瑜伽。Yogi Bhajan 说，音流既是宇宙的成因，也是让宇宙持续运转的声音。音流同时是真理之声，通常指 Gurbani（古鲁之言），更广义上也指种子音（bij）以及一切尊重真理之道中所含的真理之声。
